
Bryan Lin Po Ju
Bryan comes from Taiwan. At the age of 18, he began studying dance and received formal dance education at the Hwa-Kang Arts School.
At 21, he was noticed by Martin Fredmann, a guest professor of classical ballet at the Taipei National University of the Arts, who awarded him a scholarship to the Kirov Academy of Ballet in the United States, where Bryan trained in the Vaganova method.
Later, he moved to Europe to further develop his career, performing as a ballet soloist at the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
In 2014, he was nominated for one of the most prestigious Czech performing arts awards – the Thalia Award – for his leading role in the ballet Sylphide, becoming one of the candidates for Best Male Dancer of the Year. The same year, he was also nominated for the Opera Plus Audience Award in the category of “Best Male Dancer.”
After returning to Taiwan, Bryan joined the Formosa Ballet Taiwan, where he serves as the Principal Dancer and Assistant Ballet Master.
Together with his wife Zuzana, who is also a dancer, he founded the MajLin Ballet Studio, dedicated to nurturing a new generation of dance artists and passing on professionalism and passion for the art of ballet.
