
Nataša Novotná
NATAŠA NOVOTNÁ
is a Czech dancer, choreographer and lecturer.
Engaged in the Dutch ensembles Nederlands Dans Theater 1 and 2
and in Sweden's Göteborgs Operan Ballet, where she collaborated and created with the world's leading choreographers.
After a decade abroad, she started her independent career.
In Prague, she co-founded the contemporary dance group 420people. Executive position director, dancer and choreographer, she worked here for almost another decade.
Subsequently, she founded Kylián's endowment fund in Prague, where she concentrated on handing over a legacy of the emancipation of dance to future generations.
Nataša systematically coaches the ballet company of the National Theatre Moravian-Silesian, which has been successful at home and abroad in recent years, and works as a teacher at conservatories and universities; in files, also internationally.
As a choreographer, she is interested in the transmission of information purely through movement textures and form, in relation to the chosen topic and environment. From recent works for example, the Pod Prahy project for GHMP - installation in the basement of Dom u

For her stage performances, she received several nominations, the prestigious Thalia Award and the Dancer of the Year award.
Since 2017, until now, she is the only one in the country teaching the movement language of Gaga, developed in Israel by Ohad Naharin
