
Gianvito Attimonelli
Gianvito Attimonelli (born in Bari, Italy, 1989) graduated in 2008 from the La Scala Ballet School in Milan, where he trained under the direction of Annamaria Prina and Frédéric Olivieri.
He began his professional career with the National Theatre Ballet in Brno, before joining the Czech National Ballet in Prague, where he was promoted to soloist, and later worked with Laterna Magika in Prague. During his performing career, he performed a wide range of classical and contemporary repertoire.
From 2019 to 2026, he worked at the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava as Ballet Master and Assistant to the Artistic Director, where he was responsible for company training, rehearsals, artistic planning, recruitment, and the staging of productions.
He is regularly invited as a guest teacher and ballet master by companies, theatres, and academies across Europe and internationally.
